Susan specializes in all aspects of Human Resources and assists a variety of clients in strengthening their team through strategic HR strategies. From recruitment and retention to assisting with restructuring, her wide range of experience and expertise assist our clients in developing top notch HR practices that contribute to their success.

Susan spent the first decade of her career in Toronto and Vancouver — honing her skills in financial services and business development. She started with F.H. Black & Company in 2003 as New Business Development Manager. Her business acumen quickly made her an invaluable asset to our clients, and she has since transitioned into her current leadership role of Partner, General Manager and Director of Human Resources.

Susan is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and is an active member of the HR Association of Manitoba (HRMAM). She studied English literature at the University of Toronto and Human Resource Management at Red River College. Susan is also an active volunteer and Board Member in various local non-profit organizations focused on youth homelessness and fitness.
