Our client, a successful automotive/transportation industry services provider, located in Winnipeg, MB is currently seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties and will possess the skills and credentials listed below.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to customers on parts and industrial supplies
  • Fill orders by phone or email from customers and outside salespersons and set expectations for delivery, pick up, or COD
  • Source parts and supplies from local warehouses
  • Assist in creating an environment that nurtures teamwork, efficiency and celebrates success
  • Engage in direct sales initiatives
  • Attend training and skills meetings as required
  • Meet or exceed sales targets

Core Skill Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a sales role, ideally in the automotive/transportation industry
  • Demonstrated track record in sales of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Driven, entrepreneurial sales professional with exemplary customer service skills
  • New business development experience, comfortable with prospecting and cold calling
  • Knowledge with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy with the motivation to continually learn
