Our Human Resource practice is growing! We are seeking a talented and energetic full-time consultant with a wide range of experience in the field. We are changing the way people think about client care, and we need your help.

Reporting to and working in collaboration with the HR Director, our Senior HR Consultant will provide functional support to our clients on an ongoing basis in areas such as: staffing & retention, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and policy adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Advising Owners & Stakeholders management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures;
  • Strategic HR consulting in areas of performance management, succession planning, harassment investigations, workforce growth and downsizings;
  • Serving as an external consultant by analyzing clients current HR programs and recommending solutions;
  • Developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures;
  • Ensuring HR programs and services are in compliance with established policies and procedures and state/federal laws and regulations;
  • Preparing and maintaining reports related to specific HR projects;
  • Assisting with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow;
  • Developing methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects
  • Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance;
  • Presenting training sessions related to specific HR programs.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years as a senior HR consultant working with clients in public and private sector, union and non-unionized environments;
  • CPHR designation in good standing;
  • Post secondary education in HR management;
  • Previous new business development and consulting experience with demonstrated track record;
  • Ability to handle high volume of work with professionalism and competency;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Adaptable, client focused and innovative.
