Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to and working in collaboration with the HR Director, our HR Consultant will provide functional support to our clients on an ongoing basis in areas such as:

  • Staffing & retention
  • Orientation & onboarding
  • Interpersonal relations
  • Performance & coaching management
  • Policy adherence
  • Employee engagement

This individual will play a critical part in supporting, partnering with and guiding our clients in the field of Human Resources, ensuring legislative compliance at all times. Main responsibilities include:

  • Full-cycle recruiting including sourcing candidates, interviewing, reference checking
  • Terminations on behalf of clients including consideration of legal issues
  • Working with employees coaching through internal conflict, resolution of disputes, coaching
  • Development of corporate policies, creation of employee handbooks or review of existing policies, compliant with HR legislation
  • Ability to prospect and secure new business in all HR consulting areas


  • 4-6 years in a senior HR role either as an HR consultant or internal HR management
  • Formal HR training, degree or diploma
  • CPHR or CPHR student a strong asset


Salary range: $50,000 to $55,000 plus performance bonus
